Hi!! Hello!! Happy Wednesday!
I am thrilled to share episode 7 of The Aphrodite Project with you. This one is different and (imo) so so fun. There’s no date, no archetype, it’s just Aphrodite and Poet and a “live studio audience” (AKA canned sitcom laughter) in the studio. Aphrodite makes a pretty good game show host if you ask me.
This episode is about performance, deflection, and trying to teach the very thing you’re struggling to live. It’s messy. It’s one of my favorites.
As always, if you’ve missed past episodes, you can catch up here.
I would love to hear how this episode lands for you. You can reply to this email, message me directly on nemo@pulse-fm.com, or comment on the Substack post or Spotify.

Thank you for listening.
Much love,

Show Notes
A canceled date, a fake talk show, a third tenet of love announced to an imaginary crowd. Aphrodite says it’s better this way; more time for analysis, for theory, for myths. The Poet isn’t so sure.
This episode explores what happens when performance becomes protection, and when explaining love is easier than living it. Is boldness always a virtue? Or just another mask we wear when things fall apart?
Performers:
Natasha Rene Jimenez as Aphrodite
Nemo as The Poet
Created by Nemo.
Special Thanks: Natasha, Sasha, my parents, the talented actors without whom this project would simply not exist.
